Ms Sophia Papailiadis is a Clinical Psychologist Supervisor and Lecturer in the Postgraduate Psychology courses in the College of Health and Biomedicine.
Sophia started her career working with children in both public and private practices. Her particular interest area was working with youth who presented with challenging behaviours, in the context of neurodiversities. Her passion for working with complex client profiles eventually lead her to work in the Not For Profit sector, supporting clients with forensic histories and intellectual disabilities reintegrate into the community. Sophia predominantly leans on CBT and DBT treatment modalities to support her clients through treatment.
Currently, Sophia lectures in the Postgraduate Psychology program, and provides clinical supervision to students who are completing Professional and Clinical Psychology placements at Victoria Univeristy.
