Simone is an instructor/facilitator within the First Year College, assisting students during their first year at Victoria University.

She started her journey at Victoria University as a mature-aged student while working full time at Metlink, later to become The Public Transport Corporation, in Personnel or Human Resources.

Simone has been at Victoria University for more than twenty years, including studying and teaching. She is very focused on making students feel at ease, encouraging them to ask questions and always feel safe and comfortable while studying and attending class.

She is a firm believer that all students need a go-to person to allow their study journey to go smoothly. She also aims to instil self-belief and self-confidence in all her students. "Sometimes all you require is a little encouragement."
