Rosie is an Educational Advisor in the Continuing Educational Development team.  She started her career at the university in 2000 in the Educational Professional Development Unit delivering teaching qualifications in the VE sector. As part of this role Rosie worked with the College of Education to develop and deliver an innovative undergraduate teaching qualification for people career changing from industry into teaching. This program recognised the skills and knowledge this student cohort brought to the program and supported them as they transitioned to secondary teachers located in hard to fill teaching vacancies. 

Prior to starting at the university Rosie had more than fifteen years’ experience in designing and facilitating learning programs in the public and private sector specialising in the field of workforce capability development.

Since starting in the educational advisor role Rosie has taught in and co-ordinated the unit Foundations of Learning and Teaching in Tertiary Education in the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education.

Unit Coordinator and teacher in AET4001 Foundations of Learning and Teaching in Tertiary Education.
