Mariam is a very enthusiastic nurse educator working within the First Year College.
She started her career as a Clinical Facilitator at Victoria University in 2010 for three years. She then continued her career within the TAFE Sector as a Nurse Educator with Careers Australia for seven years, then a Clinical Placement Coordinator with Torrens University Melbourne, before coming back to join Victoria University First Year College in 2018.
Mariam has 10 years working experience in the health Industry as a RN. She started her career at Western Health, Sunshine and Footscray hospitals taking on different roles as a Medical Surgical, Rehabilitation and Othorgeriatrics Nurse.
She also currently works with the Medical Staff Nursing Agency to maintain currency in the nursing industry.
