Liz is the Program Coordinator for Pathways in Place. Her role with the Pathways in Place program involves community outreach, facilitation and coordination.
She is a community engagement specialist with experience in sustainability engagement, local government and community sector organisations.
Liz is a PhD candidate researching youth climate activism and wellbeing.
Prior to commencing at Victoria University, Liz held roles including:
- Sustainability Engagement Officer with Hume City Council
- Community Organiser with the National Union of Workers
- Team Leader for Merri Outreach Support Service (Homelessness and family violence support)
- Facilitator for Youth Justice Group Conferences with Barwon Youth.
Liz has a strong commitment to social and ecological justice. She is also an experienced drummer of 33 years.
