Ella is a lecturer in Marketing Communications. She holds qualifications in education, public policy and management and political science.
Prior to joining Victoria University on an academic appointment, Ella was selected into Teach for Australia’s award winning graduate development program and taught for two years at a school in regional Victoria, developing their English as an Additional Language program.
Ella is passionate about communications and specifically the role of government language in policy and the implications of this in practice. Ella has professional experience collaborating and managing projects with local government and the not-for-profit sector. In the classroom, Ella aims to create a learning environment that is supportive yet challenging, with a focus on real-world assignments and job readiness.
