This unit introduces students to modern computer operating systems, their architectures, components, functions and roles. Students will develop practical skills in administering, securing, and maintaining Windows and Linux operating systems using CLI, GUI, and basic scripting. This unit also covers process, memory, device, and file management, as well as the configuration and deployment of network services in a network operating system environment.
