Exam timetable

Check the exam timetables carefully for details of your exam times and venues.

3 June to 21 June (Melbourne Showgrounds)

15 July to 19 July (St Albans campus)
Semester 2
28 October to 15 November (Melbourne Showgrounds)
Special and supplementary exams (Semester 2)
2 December to 6 December (St Albans campus)
Summer school (2014)
10 February - 14 February (St Albans campus)

You are strongly advised not to bring a bag and/or personal items to the exam venue. The University takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to those items.

Your exam will be scheduled either in the morning, afternoon or evening. Make sure that you arrive on time:

morning session starts at 9.30am
afternoon session starts at 2.00pm
evening session starts at 6.00pm.

Make sure you understand and comply with the rules and regulations that apply to formal University examinations.

Exam timetables

You need to make sure you have all the information you need. It's your responsibility to access your exam timetable/s each semester. The 2013 exam timetables will be released and displayed on MYVU Portal at the following times:

Semester 1
General exam timetable will be displayed from Monday 29 April. Individual student timetables and seating plans will be displayed from Monday 20 May.
Winter school, special and supplementary exams
Wednesday 10 July (will include individual timetables and seating plans)
Semester 2
Full exam timetable will be displayed from Monday 23 September. Individual student timetables and seating plans will be displayed from Monday 14 October.
Special and Supplementary exams (including individual student exam timetables)
Wednesday 27 November (by close of business)
Summer school (2014)
Monday 27 Janurary (will include individual timetables and seating plans)

Mis-reading the exam timetable will not be accepted as sufficient cause for failing to attend an exam. Please see exam rules and regulations for more information.

Please read your exam timetables carefully and check on a regular basis for any updates.

Clashing exams

If you are timetabled to sit two examinations on the same day and time you must complete a Clash of examinations advice form and lodge it at a Student Service Centre at least one week prior to the commencement of the examination period. You will then:

receive a letter confirming your exam details including new seat numbers (disregard the seat numbers displayed on the web)
be required to sit both examinations on the same day (morning and afternoon sessions)
be supervised throughout the lunch period
need to bring your own lunch because you will not be permitted to leave the examination room during the lunch period
