Research training program
Our research training program will help you develop the knowledge and skills to undertake your research project and complete a research degree.
Scholarships for research students
A scholarship provides financial assistance to support you while you study. We offer a range of scholarships for students undertaking a higher degree by research.  
Preparing for candidature
Pre-candidature commences when you first enrol until your research proposal receives final approval and you become an official candidate in your degree. Find out how to prepare your application for candidature, obtain an extension of pre-candidature or apply for advanced candidature.
Managing your candidature
Submitting bi-annual progress reports during your candidature, converting your research degree to a Masters by Research, Professional Doctorate or PhD, or varying your enrolment, taking a leave of absence, applying for an extension, withdrawing or re-instating your candidature. 
Research supervision
Work with your research supervisors to manage your research project and successfully complete a research degree. 
Thesis submission
Preparing your thesis for submission, examination, classification and conferral of your degree.
