Thesis submission
A thesis is a major component of the assessment in a research degree. Your thesis is examined by external examiners and determines the final result in your degree.
Victoria University recognises three broad thesis formats:
- Standard thesis – a single monograph that contains a series of interlinked chapters reporting on the research
- Thesis by creative project – a creative work and an accompanying critical reflective written work. For more information, see Thesis by Creative Project
- Thesis by publication – a number of high quality Papers together with framing, linking and concluding material. For more information, see Thesis by Publication
