English Language Institute (ELI) applications
To apply for a place in the English Language Institute please complete the 2009 International Student Application Form for ELICOS Courses, attaching any supporting documents required.
You can submit your application form and supporting documents to the English Language Institute through the methods listed on the application form.
To apply for ELICOS and another course at Victoria University, please use the International Student Application Form.

International student applications
Application information
All students applying to study at Victoria University must download and complete the 2009 International Student Application Form.
Please make sure that you understand and meet the entry requirements of the course for which you are applying.
There is a $50 application fee required for international student applications. International scholarship students are exempted from this application fee.
Supplementary documents
Additional documents are to be completed and submitted along with the 2009 International Student Application Form for applicants of the following courses:
- Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education, submit the following form:
- Supplementary Information Form for the Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education (HGES) for International Students.
- Master of Teaching (Secondary), submit the following form:
- Supplementary information form for Master of Teaching (Secondary) (AMET) for International Students.
- Postgraduate Psychology and Postgraduate Counselling courses, submit the following form:
Depending on the postgraduate psychology and postgraduate counselling course that you are applying for, the number of academic and professional referee reports required might change.
Application checklist
Make sure that you have all the required documentation and are able to check off all the required points in the checklist below in order to best support your application.
- Completed the 2009 International Student Application Form.
- Paid and attached the $50 application fee.
- Supplied certified copies of previous academic transcripts and graduation certificates.
- Supplied relevant documents such as letters from schools and employers.
- Provided a research proposal (applicable to Master by Research and Doctor of Philosophy applicants).
- Supplied a folio (if applicable).
- Completed Supplementary Information Form for the Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education (HGES) for International Students (if applicable).
- Completed 2010 Academic Referee Report (if applicable).
- Completed a Professional Referee Report for Graduate Programs in Psychology (if applicable).
If you are applying for an advanced standing or credit transfer please include certified copies and English translations of the course syllabus of your previous or current program.

Student Exchange and Study Abroad applications
Incoming Study Abroad
Students applying for the Study Abroad program will need to complete a Study Abroad Application Form.
Incoming Student Exchange
Students applying for an Student Exchange program will need to complete the Incoming Exchange Application Form.
You must ensure that your application has been signed off by the appropriate department at your university.
