Being an Industrial Advisor in an employee association, I am very familiar with the industrial aspects of various workplaces. The course enabled me to develop a greater understanding of HR practices, and the ability to see both sides of issues - those of the employer and the members that I represent - allowing me to achieve a solution of benefit to both parties.

The course has not only been incredibly useful in my work, it has also led to other exciting opportunities, such as sessional lecturing across a range of management, human resource and industrial relations areas at VU in Melbourne and China.
