Housing services
Victoria University (VU) owns and operates a range of accommodation for students, staff and guests of the University. If you have never lived out of home, or wish to live in a University environment, choosing to live in one of our three student residences may be a great option for you.
VU Student Residences:
- Student Village
- The Student Village is located in Maribyrnong and provides accommodation for 510 students. It is close to public transport and Highpoint shopping centre.
- Sunbury Hall
- Sunbury Hall is located on the historic Sunbury Campus and provides accommodation for 120 students.
- Victoria Place
- Victoria Place is a purpose built apartment complex with 41 fully furnished self-contained apartments and two deluxe 3 bedroom units. Located in Footscray, it is a short walk to the Footscray Park campus.

VU Student Housing Service:
VU Student Housing Service provides free advice and assistance to current students looking for housing and with tenancy problems.
- Our Student Housing Database lets students search for off campus accommodation, private and shared rentals by type, your budget and by suburb making it easier to find accommodation that suits you.
- Landlords, or students looking for housemates, can advertise accommodation on our Student Housing Database at no cost. Please read our frequently asked question for landlords document first.

- Find out about homestay, private rentals and other accommodation options in Victoria. We also provide information and options for emergency or crisis accommodation and support.

- If you are a current student, get advice and assistance choosing accommodation that suit your needs and budget. We offer support programs to assist you including housing hunting friend register and housing mentoring program.
