Competitions and surveys
Make your voice heard - Take the Student Barometer survey now!
Student feedback and evaluation are central to how the University seeks to improve our students’ experience. They are used to inform the design and delivery of our units and courses as well as to guide professional development and improve teaching practice.
We also run competitions and surveys about our student services to find out how we can support you better. Throughout the year various competitions and surveys are held with great prizes to be won.

Student barometer survey
The student barometer survey is conducted to help us understand what can make your student experience better. We use the results to help us improve facilities and services on campus. The survey is now open and will provide you with the opportunity to let us know what living, learning and support is like at VU. Let us know what is working well, what isn't and what you would like too at the University.
Complete the on-line survey in May and you could WIN 1 of 3 spectacular prizes
- iPhone 4S 16GB OR Galaxy S II i9100 - the winner can choose which model they prefer
- A $200 VISA debit card
- A WiFi Kindle Touch
Students will also go into a national draw by i-graduate for all participating Australian Universities to win $1000 cold hard cash.
Read results from the 2008 and 2010 survey.
National Union of Student Education Quality Survey
The national survey captures students perceptions of the quality of their educational experience. The survey is run by students, for students and the results will provide NUS with qualitative and quantitative data on students opinions of the quality of teaching, learning support, facilities, and course resources available at their universities. The survey is open until 30 May.
