This short course will give you the skills and required certificates to gain part time work in the hospitality industry.
Use your newly acquired skills at home or abroad, the choice is yours!
The course will be delivered through a combination of theory and practical activities in our award winning VenU training restaurant. Upon completion you will have obtained certificates in the following:
- Responsible service of alcohol (Liquor Licensing Victoria Accredited)
Acquire skills for the hospitality industry
- Follow workplace hygiene procedures (Nationally recognised)
- Prepare, cook and serve espresso coffee (Nationally recognised)
Dress Code
- Flat closed shoes or runners
- Pants or jeans only – no skirts
- No jewellery
- T shirt or polo shirt
You will also need to bring:
- A pen and paper
- A half apron (waiter’s apron). This can be purchased from VU for an additional $20.00
