Designed for non-electrical tradespersons who need to carry out limited electrical maintenance disconnect and reconnect work.
You will learn:
- basic electrical principles, single and three phase circuits.
- to disconnect and reconnect fixed wired electrical equipment connected to supply up to 1000 ac or 1500 dc.
- to connect and terminate cables and conductors, safely testing and reporting.
- follow isolation procedures, select and use testing and measuring devices, terminating and connecting cables and conductors
Entry requirements
Prior to enrolment applicants should contact Energy Safe Victoria on 9203 9700 to assess their eligibility for this license.
Participants will be assisted in registering with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) as part of the course.
ESV Licence Application Fee: $517.00
ESV Licence Renewal Fee: $248.5

ESV fees are not included in the course fees.

Admission Information
All applicants must be Certificate III qualified trades person, who require a restricted licence as a secondary part of their primary trade.
