About this course

Designed for non-electrical tradespersons who need to carry out limited electrical maintenance disconnect and reconnect work.

What you will learn:

  • Disconnecting and reconnecting fixed wired electrical equipment connected to supply up to 1000 ac or 1500 dc.
  • Basic electrical principles, single and three phase circuits.
  • Terminating and connecting cables and conductors, safely testing and reporting.
  • Following isolation procedures, selecting and using testing and measuring devices,

Entry requirements:
  • Prior to enrolment applicants should contact Energy Safe Victoria on 9203 9700 to assess their eligibility for this license.
Participants will be assisted in registering with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) as part of the course. An application fee of $517.40 is required by ESV. The license is vailid for five years and must be paid for at the time the application is submitted.

The renewal fee is $248.50 for five years.
