Pruning Roses

This three hour course had been designed to teach you how to correctly prune the many different varieties of roses that are available to grow in your home garden. You will learn from practical experience and demonstrations of the different methods used to prune old fashioned roses, modern roses, David Austin and Alister Clark roses. You will also learn what equipment they need and how to maintain it.
Learn the skills necessary to:
- determine whether a rose needs a hard winter prune or a softer winter prune
- reinvigorate old rose bushes
- understand hygiene and winter pest and disease control.
