Course Objectives

This qualification provides well-developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Units and electives

Full-time or part-time basis and flexible learning arrangements which may include off-campus study, workshops or workplace facilitation.

All units listed below can be delivered in either campus or industry mode depending on demand.

The course requires the completion of 10 units: 5 Administration units plus 5 electives.

What's a unit?

A unit or 'subject' is the actual class you'll attend in the process of completing a course.

Admission Information

  • Year 12: Successful completion of VCE or equivalent.
  • International: IELTS level 5.5
  • Mature: VTAC or Direct Entry Written Application
  • Other: Applicants will be assessed by the Selection officer as being capable of successfully completing the course. You may receive recognition of prior learning based on skills and knowledge acquired through previous study, as in articulation, informal or formal learning or from work and/or life experience.
