Negotiated offers

Negotiated offers are made for courses that are listed lower than the offer you received in round one. They are also made for courses that were not listed as a preference. They can‘t be made for courses listed higher than your offer.

How to apply for a negotiated offer

Contact us on 1300 VIC UNI (1300 842 864) to see if there are still places left in your preferred course.

Check that you meet the requirements as listed on the course page. Find your course.

  • Note: the same prerequisites and extra requirements are compulsory for negotiated offer applications as for the regular application process.

Log in to your VTAC account and complete the negotiate-offer request. This link will not be available until first round offers are released on Thursday 17 January.

Your application will be forwarded to VU for consideration. You can track the progress of your application through your VTAC user account.

  • Please Note: If your negotiated offer is approved you cannot submit another negotiated offer request and you will not be considered for any other offers through VTAC for the remainder of the selection period

Supplementary offers

Supplementary offers are made for courses that still have places available following round 2 offers. You may receive a supplementary offer if you did not receive an offer in a previous round.

If you are interested in receiving a supplementary offer from VU you can contact us for more information.
