If you submit a direct-entry application to study at Victoria University (VU), we will acknowledge receipt of your application by sending you a letter, email or SMS. After receiving your application, our internal evaluation and selection process begins.

Review by College staff
Once we receive your direct application and send you an acknowledgement, we forward the application to the appropriate College for consideration. Enquiries regarding selection outcomes should be directed to the Academic College.
If you have applied through VTAC you should either visit the VTAC website (www.vtac.edu.au) or phone the VTAC infoline on 1300 364 133.
Application outcome
After we have reviewed all applications, you will be advised whether or not your individual application was successful.
If successful, you will be send a Letter of offer, with instructions on how you can accept your place, as well as further information on enrolment, Unit of Study selection and orientation.
If you are unsuccessful, please don't be discouraged, you may consider applying for a different course at VU, or looking at our study pathways for options on how you can progress to your preferred qualification.
