Growing Vegetables in Pots - Apartments and Small Gardens

This three hour course has been designed to teach people what they need to know about growing vegetables in pots on an apartment balcony or in small gardens. Participants will also learn how to create a suitable micro-climate by managing the wind, sun and heat (or lack of it) from the building.
Learn the skills necessary to:
- select the right position to grow vegetables
- select the right type and size of pot
- understand plant nutrient requirements
- manage pests and diseases organically
