An opportunity for students to learn principles and tools of editing with one of the Industries most powerful editing programs, Final Cut Pro. The course will cover a wide range of video editing skills including colour correction and optimising your footage.

Course contents

It will be delivered over 5 weeknight, 3 hours per night.

This workshop with cover following:

  • Principles of editing using Final Cut Pro,
  • How to set up a non-linear editing system,
  • How to log and capture footage,
  • How to edit, enhance and optimise footage,
  • Introduction to Colour Correction,
  • The principles of Key Framing and
  • Introduction to Export Formats.
