Victoria University offers English language courses throughout the year at our English Language Institute (ELI). A new course begins approximately every five weeks.

Course type and duration
Our English language courses are offered at three levels:
- English language course
- University preparation course - undergraduate (UP2)
- University preparation course - postgraduate (UP1)
English language courses begin approximately every five weeks. University preparation courses (UP1 and UP2) run for 10 weeks and are available only in certain intakes. See the table below for course dates.

UP2 = University Preparation Course (Undergraduate)
UP1 = University Preparation Course (Postgraduate)
Enrolment Day
Attendance at Enrolment Day is compulsory. If you cannot attend Enrolment Day you must defer to the next appropriate course intake. See the above table for dates.
On Enrolment Day please report at 9am to the English Language Institute:

- a pen
- your passport
- a copy of your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE)
- your IELTS result (if possible).
