Advance your understanding of the maintenance and operation of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, as well as the co-ordination, monitoring and implementation of the treatment of drinking water and wastewater. Areas of study include managing a civil works project, maintaining, managing and evaluating occupational health and safety and producing hydrometric reports.

Course Objectives

This qualification has been designed for supervisors overseeing the maintenance and operation of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.

Elective units of study

To achieve this qualification the candidate must demonstrate competency in nine units, comprising two core and seven elective units of competency.
