This course will give you the knowledge, skills and qualification to operate as a licensed real estate agent in Victoria. The Business Licensing Authority is responsible for all licensing and registration related functions.

Course Objectives
The qualification provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to operate as a licensed Estate Agent. The course provides participants with training in areas related to the legal liability and responsibility of estate agents, real estate accounting requirements, the management of client and agency relationships, the listing and sale of properties, property leasing, the conduct of auctions, property management, property appraisals and risk management.

To work as an Agents Representative in Victoria is it a requirement of the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) that the following three units are completed: CPPDSM4007A, CPPDSM4008A and CPPDSM4080A. On completion of these units students will need to be employed as an agents' representative for a period of 1 year prior to completing the remaining units in the full qualification.
Agents Representative courses run either two weeks full time or six weeks part time, with the course running continuously throughout the year. At the completion of Agents Representative Units, students will receive a Statement of Attainment and can be employed as an Agents' Representative under a Licensed Estate Agent.
Students continuing into the Full License course will be required to have worked for a period of 1 year as an Agents Representative upon completing the full qualification. All units must be completed to obtain this qualification and meet the licensing requirements.

A unit or 'subject' is the actual class you'll attend in the process of completing a course.
Most courses have a mixture of compulsory 'core' units that you need to take, and optional 'elective' units that you can choose to take based on your area of interest, expertise or experience.

- Year 12: Completion of VCE or equivalent. To be eligible to work as an agent's representative you must at least 18 years of age. To be eligible to complete the full course you students must first complete the Agents Representative units and have completed 1 year of work under a licensed Real Estate agent.
- International: NA
- Mature: To be eligible to work as an agent's representative you must at least 18 years of age. To be eligible to complete the full course you students must first complete the Agents Representative units and have completed 1 year of work under a licensed Real Estate agent.
