Course Objectives

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Units and electives

To successfully complete this qualification participants must complete 15 unit (6 core units plus 9 elective units) as per the Training Package rules and the University's selection.

What's a unit?

A unit or 'subject' is the actual class you'll attend in the process of completing a course.

Most courses have a mixture of compulsory 'core' units that you need to take, and optional 'elective' units that you can choose to take based on your area of interest, expertise or experience.

Admission Information

  • Year 12: Successful completion of VCE or equivalent
  • Mature: Demonstrated interested and ability to complete the course as assessed by the University

  3. As part of the application you may need to complete extra requirements such as:
    • submit supplementary forms
    • attend an interview, audition, information session or workshop
    • submit a folio
    • sit a test

    You need to complete all extra requirements by the given dates, otherwise your application may not be considered.
