To achieve a Certificate IV in Hospitality, 26 units must be completed: all 14 core units and minimum of 12 elective units.
What's a unit?
A unit or 'subject' is the actual class you'll attend in the process of completing a course.
Most courses have a mixture of compulsory 'core' units that you need to take, and optional 'elective' units that you can choose to take based on your area of interest, expertise or experience.
Admission Information
- TAFE: To qualify for admission students must have literacy and numeracy competencies at least equivalent to those defined by level 2 of the National Reporting System and satisfy the Head of School of their ability to complete the course.
- Year 12: To qualify for admission students must have literacy and numeracy competencies at least equivalent to those defined by level 2 of the National Reporting System and satisfy the Head of School of their ability to complete the course.
- Mature: To qualify for admission students must have literacy and numeracy competencies at least equivalent to those defined by level 2 of the National Reporting System and satisfy the Head of School of their ability to complete the course.
