Course Objectives

This qualification provides an occupational outcome in concreting for domestic and commercial projects. The work would be carried out under general guidance and supervision.

The following study areas include:

  • handle concreting material
  • plan and organise work
  • basic levelling
  • erect and dismantle formwork
  • basic demolition

To achieve this qualification, the student must demonstrate competency in 11 units of competency:

  • 9 core units
  • 2 elective units
