Basic Hairstyling Techniques for Make-Up Artists

This three session course has been designed by our industry professionals to give makeup artists an introduction to hairdressing techniques for wedding & bridal parties. This course also caters for people with limited make-up experience with an interest in hairstyling and are wanting to expand their skills.
In our step by step class exercises, you will learn how to:
- plan a design
- section the hair
- use styling tools to prepare the hair for the hairstyling technique
- use products to enhance and hold your style.
- use the latest styling techniques to control the fluidity of hair, utilise natural colour or add hair pieces, fashion effect and overall presentation.
You will learn to do following styles like a professional
- French roll
- Modern rope style
- Barrel curls
This course will be delivered through a combination of classroom theory and practical activities in our modern and well-equipped Studio. Our innovative delivery strategies make this an engaging course for participants.
This course will give you basic hairdressing skills to compliment your existing make-up expertise. Suitable for makeup artists who are interested in providing extended services for Wedding & Bridal Parties, this course gives you an opportuntinty to upskill and expand your business .
Equipment
Students will need to provide a professional hair dryer, brush set, sectioning clips and water spray.
