Course Objectives

The course provides the knowledge and skills to provide leadership and strategic direction in the marketing activities of an organisation.

Units and electives

All units selected are subject to the approval of the Head of School.

Students must successfully complete a minimum of 8 units – 4 core units plus 4 electives. At least 3 electives must be selected from the elective list for this qualification provided in the BSB07 training package. The other 1 elective may be selected from the remaining elective units listed in the Training Package for this qualification or from any course in the BSB07 Training Package or other endorsed national training package. If not listed the one unit may be selected from a Diploma qualification. This course is approximately 6 months full-time or equivalent. Time required to complete the course will vary according to the delivery and assessment mode offered. NB: students progress through Certificate IV and Diploma of Marketing levels prior to commencing this Advanced Diploma program.

A unit or 'subject' is the actual class you'll attend in the process of completing a course.

Most courses have a mixture of compulsory 'core' units that you need to take, and optional 'elective' units that you can choose to take based on your area of interest, expertise or experience.

Admission Information

  • TAFE: NA
  • Year 12: Successful Completion of Year 12 of equivalent - students will articulate through the Diploma of Marketing
  • International: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
  • Mature: Relevant industry experiance as assessed by the University
