The dedicated International Student Support (ISS) team at Victoria University International will support you from your arrival through to when you become an alumnus of the university.
We want to ensure that your time as a student at Victoria University (VU) is as rewarding as possible.

Support available
Face to face customer service at our student services centre
We will work to make your experience at VU positive. We understand the challenges international students face as you adjust to a new culture and environment, make new friends, and successfully complete your studies. Be assured you are not alone. We are here to help.
We offer you:
- free airport reception service on your arrival in Melbourne (this must be pre-booked)
- an orientation program to assist with your transition to living in Melbourne and studying at VU
- assistance and support on cultural issues, transition to life in Melbourne, study concerns and general questions
- support and encouragement
- a range of social activities and programs
- introductions to relevant services or identifying who you should contact to solve your question
- an after-hours contact number

The ISS team is a dedicated group of VU staff, and they will guide and support you during your time with us. Members of the ISS team are permanently located at three of our campuses. If you are located on another campus, please contact us and we will arrange to meet you at your campus.
Our City Flinders and Footscray Park campus offices are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

After hours assistance
When offices on campus are closed, VU international students can call the after-hours telephone number 1800 758 350 for immediate advice and assistance on many issues, including health and safety concerns.
