VU residences
Victoria University (VU) owns and operates two student residences to accommodate students, staff and guests of the University.
Living in one of our residences is a good choice if:
- you have never lived out of home
or
- you wish to live in a University environment.

Student Village
The Student Village is a residential complex providing a vibrant living environment for approximately 480 students. The Village provides an environment that encourages academic achievement while fostering personal growth and independence.
It is close to public transport (tram 84, bus 223 and bus 406), making travel to the City, Footscray Park, Footscray Nicholson and St Albans campus easy. It is also a short walk to Highpoint Shopping Centre, one of the major shopping centres in Melbourne.

Victoria Place
Victoria Place is a purpose built apartment complex in Footscray, located 2 minutes walk from Footscray Park campus. It has 55 beds, comprised of 39 single occupancy units and 8 dual occupancy units.
Each unit is fully furnished and self-contained purposely designed for students living. In addition, Victoria Place has two deluxe 3 bedroom units with ensuite, shared kitchen and living area.
Located on Ballarat Road, Footscray, it is only a short walk to classes at our Footscray Park campus and all on-campus facilities including the University library, bookshop, cafeterias and sporting facilities. It is less than 7km from the heart of Melbourne, close to public transport and Highpoint Shopping Centre.
