We have several creative arts spaces and services that engage the broader arts and media community.

Level 17 Artspace

Level 17 Artspace

The Level 17 Artspace is situated on the 17th floor of the City Flinders campus. It encourages dynamic, challenging, innovative and experimental artistic practice. It was designed with professionals, emerging artists and alumni in mind.

We hold approximately 4 exhibitions per year, and our annual program includes touring exhibitions from Melbourne and surrounding regions.

In conjunction with the Visual Art program, we give our students valuable industry experience and encourage dialogue with exhibiting artists. Students help with opening nights, and installing and dismantling exhibitions in the gallery.

Design Studio

Located at our City Flinders campus, the Creative Industries Design Studio offers a simulated work environment for final year graphic design students. Students from multimedia, digital media, games and visual arts also have the opportunity to get involved on particular projects.

Students help produce commercial work for internal and external clients, finished to accepted industry standards and deadlines.
