Whether you are a graduate, staff, former staff or a friend of Victoria University and its forerunner institutions, you are part of our alumni community.
You can choose to join the alumni community as a financial member, or participate as a non-financial member, with access to a range of facilities and discounted services.

Financial membership
We have three options available for financial membership - one, three or five years.
Each financial member receives a VU Alumni membership card, with access to a range of benefits including:
- Your VU e-news for the Alumni Community
- a copy of Connections magazine twice a year
- Library (borrow books and access a selection of the library's e-database and journal services)
- invitations to networking events
- career advice and assistance
- discounts on short courses
- discounts at VU bookshops, sport and fitness centres and health and personal services teaching clinics
- concession subscription rate with the Malthouse Theatre

Becoming a financial member
To join as a financial member simply download and complete the relevant form and send it with payment to the address provided. Make sure you select the form for your country of residence. If your country is not listed, please use the Australian membership form to join as a financial alumni member:
Update your details
If your details have changed since becoming a member, let us know by emailing alumni@vu.edu.au with your:
- full name (and name at the time of graduation if it is different)
- contact details (phone, email, postal address)
- date of birth
- current employment details (including company name and job title).
Non-financial membership
All recent graduates automatically become non-financial members.
The benefits of non-financial membership include:
- Your VU e-news for the Alumni Community
- invitations to networking events
- access to hairdressing, beauty and massage services
- career advice and assistance
To stay in touch with VU as a non-financial member, simply email Alumni Relations at alumni@vu.edu.au with the following details:
- full name
- contact details (phone, email, postal address)
- VU course code and course name
- year of graduation (or anticipated year of graduation)
- employment details (including company name and job title).
