    Coralie Morrissey is Executive Director of The Faculty of Technical and Trades Innovation. Coralie has over 20 years experience in the Vocational Education & Training sector. During that time she has worked in a variety of roles in the TAFE sector as a lecturer, special project manager, portfolio manager and director. Over the last five years Coralie has worked in a senior executive management role.

    As a Senior Manager in the Western Australian VET sector she has been involved in College, State, National and International initiatives in Vocational Education and Training. In particular Coralie, in her role as General Manager Education and Training of Swan TAFE, the largest trade training provider in Western Australia, has been involved in developing partnerships with industry and community groups in a range of innovative projects that have gained National and International attention.

    These initiatives played a large part in Swan TAFE being awarded Western Australian Training Provider of the Year 2006 and being short listed in the top three training organisations for the Australian large Training Provider of the Year.

    Coralie has been instrumental in developing strategic directions for the academic divisions of Swan TAFE and has re-engineered portfolio areas to cater for the growth in demand for skill shortage trade areas. She has initiated some exciting work in the trades area including a successful campaign to recruit new trades teachers and an innovative approach to delivering training for the construction industry.
