International scholarships
Victoria University (VU) is proud to support thousands of international scholarship recipients and sponsored students every year.
Our VU Block Model® International Scholarship offers up to 30% off tuition fees to new international students starting eligible courses at VU Melbourne.
Our new STEM Accommodation Scholarship offers up to a year's free accommodation to exceptional international students starting science, engineering and information technology degrees at VU Melbourne.
We also welcome recipients of externally-funded scholarships, including the prestigious Australia Awards Scholarships.
If you already hold a scholarship or sponsorship, note it when you submit your course application. All scholarship applicants must meet VU's academic entry requirements, plus any scholarship eligibility

This scholarship is proudly support by Medibank, VU’s preferred provider of Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students. VU can organise Medibank Comprehensive OSHC for you when you accept your offer. Medibank Comprehensive OSHC meets your student visa health insurance requirements (for all course types), helps towards your hospital and medical needs and provides a range of added value services above Medibank Essentials OSHC.
Australia Awards Scholarships
Australia Awards scholarships are long-term development awards, offered by the Australian Government and administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
They aim to contribute to the long-term development needs of Australia's partner countries.
