Access & borrowing
The libraries at Victoria University can provide you with access to a range of facilities and services. These include facilities on campus, online access and access to other libraries outside of VU.
Some of the facilities and services we can provide access to include:
- books, journals and other articles in person or online
- PC access, printing, copying and scanning
- information on loans, renewals and fines
- room booking.

My LibraryManage your loans, renewals, fines and holds through My Library. You can also suggest an item for the Library to purchase & set up SMS alerts.
MembershipVU students and staff are automatically members of the Library. Find out what resources and services are available to alumni, offshore, reciprocal and external borrowers.
Holds & renewalsInformation about placing holds, loaning and renewing library materials.
Loan periods & finesInformation about overdue Library fines, how you are notified and how to pay them.
Print, copy & scanFind out the cost of printing, copying and binding as well as how to add printing and copying credit to your library card.
PC & room bookingFind out how to book a library PC or study room in advance or on the spot.
Access to other librariesIf you are unable to find items through VU Library, you may be able to access the item from other libraries using BONUS+, ArticleReach or CAVAL.
