Gain the skills and confidence to provide support to students with diverse needs with a Certificate IV in School Based Education Support CHC40225 at Victoria University (VU).

Course structure

To be awarded CHC40225 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support, 17 unit must be completed, consisting of: • 13 core units • 4 elective units, consisting of: - at least 2 units from Certificate IV in School Based Education Support - up to 2 units from the electives listed below, elsewhere in the CHC Community Services Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course.
The selection of electives chosen must be guided by the job outcome sought, local sector requirements and the complexity of skills appropriate to the AQF level of this qualification.

Classes & homework

You will be required to attend scheduled classes 3 days per week. Approximate class times: 9am–3pm 

You will also need to complete independent study including eLearning activities and assessments. We recommend dedicating up to 10 hours per week for this.
