Social work placements

As a Victoria University student, the Professional Placements undertaken in Social Work are critical for preparation of your career in Social Work.

The Bachelor of Social Work at Victoria University prepares you for effective professional practice as social workers in the human and community services industry.

The course includes a rigorous program that produces graduates who are competent, effective, skilled, knowledge-based, ethically aware and confident, as well as competent and professional practitioners.

You'll have the opportunity to extend your knowledge and experience in linking theory with the realities of practice and supervised field education in at least two field placements.

As a student you'll be allocated placements in a variety of social work and related agencies in and around Melbourne.
