VU Brisbane Global Excellence Scholarship (2023)

Our VU Brisbane Global Excellence Scholarship offers 17% off tuition fees for students commencing our undergraduate, postgraduate and higher education diploma programs in IT and Business. The Scholarship is open to all international onshore and offshore students who are commencing with VU Brisbane in 2023 and who meet the entry requirements.

• How to apply: Students will automatically be assessed for the Global Excellence Scholarship at the time of application.
• Value (2023 commencement): 17% off the course tuition fee for the first two semesters of the course, and 17% thereafter if you successfully complete all units in your first year of study (calculated from the date of commencement to the course end date in the letter of offer).
• Eligibility (2023 commencement): All new students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) course (including ELSIS EAP packages) with VU Brisbane in 2023 are eligible.

Terms and Conditions:

• Students must pay the required tuition fee deposit to accept their offer. The remaining balance is due before the course start date.
• Students who have received a scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation for their VU course are not eligible for this scholarship.
• Students with approval to reduce their study load are eligible to receive a reduced scholarship, based on the number of units taken (pro-rata).
• Students returning from approved Leave of Absence (Intermission) are eligible to continue receiving the scholarship until the course end date in their letter of offer.
• New students receiving advanced standing for previous studies are eligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship for the remaining standard duration of eligible courses.
• Students must successfully complete all units in their first year of the course for the scholarship to be maintained in their second year of study.
• Students will continue to remain eligible to receive the Global Excellence Scholarship for their approved study duration, providing the student pays all tuition and additional fees/costs in full by census date each study period, and meets the conditions of their student visa.
• The Global Excellence Scholarship is not refundable, convertible to cash, or transferable to another individual, commencing study period, or course.
• This scholarship is awarded at the sole discretion of the University.
• Victoria University may make changes to these terms and conditions without notice.
• The University’s decision concerning the assessment of eligibility for the Scholarship is final, and there is no right of appeal should the student be unsuccessful in securing the scholarship, or has the scholarship withdrawn.
• Successful applicants will be notified in their full offer letter. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.

VU Brisbane Global Citizen Scholarship (2023)

Our VU Brisbane Global Citizen Scholarship offers a reduction of 20% on tuition fees for students commencing our undergraduate, postgraduate and higher education diploma programs in IT and Business. The Scholarship is open to international students (offshore and onshore) from the defined diverse regions and are commencing with VU Sydney or VU Brisbane in 2023.

• How to apply: Students will automatically be assessed for the Global Citizen Scholarship at the time of application.
• Value (2023 commencement): 20% off the course tuition fee for the first two semesters of the course, and 20% thereafter if you successfully complete all units in your first year of study (calculated from the date of commencement to the course end date in the letter of offer).  
• Eligibility (2023 commencement): The scholarship is available all international students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate courses (including ELSIS EAP packages) at VU Sydney or VU Brisbane who is a citizen of one of the following countries:

Argentina, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, New Caledonia, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Tahiti, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA, Vietnam

Terms and Conditions:

Students must pay the required tuition fee deposit to accept their offer. The remaining balance is due before the course start date.

VU Sydney & Brisbane Global Diversity Scholarship

Our VU Sydney & Brisbane Global Diversity Scholarship offers a further reduction of 10% on tuition fees for students commencing our undergraduate, postgraduate and higher education diploma programs in IT and Business. The 10% reduction would be applied in addition to the VU Sydney/VU Brisbane Pathway to Success Scholarship.

The Global Diversity Scholarship is open to international students (offshore and onshore) from the regions defined below who are commencing with VU Sydney or VU Brisbane in 2024.

VU Global Business Scholarship

Our new Global Business Scholarship for international students from Japan and Brazil offers a reduction of 50% on tuition fees for students commencing our selected postgraduate courses (BMAG and BMEN course codes). The Scholarship is open to international students (offshore and onshore) from Japan and Brazil and are commencing with VU Sydney or VU Brisbane in 2024.

• Value: 50% off the course tuition fee the duration of the course.

VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship (2024)

The VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship supports new international students who plan to commence a course in early childhood education in 2024.

Bachelor of Early Childhood (EBEC)/Bachelor of Early Childhood and Leadership (EBCL)

Value (2024 commencement): 20% tuition fee reduction for the entire standard duration of eligible courses (calculated from the date of commencement to the course end date in the letter of offer).

Eligibility (2024 commencement): All new international students commencing the course Bachelor of Early Childhood Education/ Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Leadership at with VU Sydney & Brisbane in 2024 are eligible for the scholarship.

Terms and Conditions:

• The VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship is awarded at the sole discretion of the University.
• Successful applicants will be notified in their offer letter. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified. 
• Students who have received a scholarship or sponsorship from another organization for their VU Sydney or Brisbane course are not eligible for this scholarship.
• Students must pay the required tuition fee deposit to accept their offer. The remaining balance is due before the Census date of the course. 
• The VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship is not refundable or convertible to cash.
• The VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship cannot be transferred to another individual or course.   
• The VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship cannot be deferred into commencement in a new study period without reassessment of eligibility.
• New students receiving advanced standing for previous studies are eligible for the VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship for the remaining standard duration of eligible courses. 
• Students with approval to reduce their study load are eligible to receive a reduced scholarship, based on the number of units taken (pro-rata) until the course end date in their letter of offer.
• Students returning from approved Leave of Absence (Intermission) are eligible to continue receiving the scholarship until the course end date in their letter of offer.
• Current VU Sydney & Brisbane students receiving a different VU Sydney/Brisbane scholarship who wish to change from one course to another with advanced standing (credits) are eligible for a continuation of their existing scholarship only.
• Students will continue to remain eligible to receive the VU Sydney & Brisbane Early Childhood Education International Scholarship providing the student pays all tuition and additional fees/costs for each study period, and meets the conditions of their student visa.
• Scholarships only apply to eligible students during their period of study at VU Sydney/Brisbane and cannot be allocated retrospectively to students who are no longer enrolled.
• The University’s decision concerning the assessment of eligibility for the Scholarship is final, and there is no right of appeal should the student be unsuccessful in securing the scholarship or have the scholarship withdrawn.
• The University reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions without notice.

VU Brisbane Pathway to Success Scholarship

The VU Brisbane Pathway to Success Scholarship provides students with an annual reduction of $11,000 in tuition fees. Students commencing our undergraduate, postgraduate and higher education diploma programs in IT and Business are eligible for this scholarship. 

The Scholarship is open to all international onshore and offshore students who are commencing with VU Brisbane in 2024 and who meet the entry requirements.

Value (2024 commencing students): Annual value of $11,000 (and divided into 8 units) for the first year of study, and $11,000 per year thereafter if you maintain satisfactory academic progress. Please refer to terms and conditions below
