Build your leadership skills for management and supervisor roles with the Diploma of Leadership and Management BSB50420 at Victoria University.

Whether you aspire to a career in leadership and management, or are looking to improve your existing management skills, this course is for you. It is designed for professionals with work experience, including those already managing staff, as well as people working towards a career as a manager.

Upon completion of this course graduates will be able to demonstrate initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They will be able to use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
It will enable them to plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Course Structure

To be awarded the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, a total of twelve (12) units of competency must be achieved, comprising of:
- Six (6) core units, and;- Six (6) elective units, of which

4 elective units must be selected from the qualification BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management
for the remaining 2 elective units:
up to 2 units may be selected from the qualification BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management
if not listed, up to 2 units may be selected from a Certificate IV or above, from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.
