On-campus interviews
On-campus interviews are a great way to save time and money. They also provide a great deal of convenience for students as they can undertake interviews and application tests on campus making scheduling time simpler. Private interview or assessment rooms can be provided at any VU campus.
Forums and seminars
Presenting at careers forums and seminars is an outstanding opportunity to share your expertise and interact with VU students. Careers forums or seminars are designed to provide students with information about current labour market and industry trends and graduate skills and attributes sought by employers.
By delivering at a careers forum or seminar you can:
- help educate students about current labour market practices
- increase your organisations profile at VU
- interact with some of VU's most career motivated students
- share your experience as a professional and a recruiter
- inform potential candidates about your recruitment process and the skills and attributes you value most
Raise your profile on campus
To promote and raise your profile on campus so that future graduates know your name we can display your promotional material on notice boards at each of our careers centers and in strategic places around our campuses. Simply send us your brochures, flyer's and posters. Student Career Development can also help you establish relationships directly with our faculties and schools along with individual students.
Get involved by:
- establishing a competition - e.g. a business case or design comp
- creating a scholarship
- sharing your expertise at a guest lecture
- sponsoring events or activities - fun ones as well as study-related!
