The Faculty of Arts, Education and Human Development offers an extensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses which develop the social, physical and educative well-being of members in our community and cultivate critical analysis and thought. We provide:
- opportunities for integrated work placements, multi-disciplinary choices, access to a range of pathways and flexible learning approaches
- excellent facilities and equipment including: Multimedia facility with television and radio production, Social Work Unit, Sleep Laboratory, multi-purpose computer rooms and a state of the art Exercise Rehabilitation Unit
- highly credentialed, friendly and approachable staff.

In this section:
- School of Communication and the Arts
- The School offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across five campuses in Melbourne. Students develop skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and in researching and expressing ideas and information.
- School of Education
- The School of Education offers students flexible career outcomes, with an emphasis on learning in workplaces and community settings. This is enhanced by our educational partnerships with local schools, community organisations and industry.
- School of Social Sciences and Psychology
- The School offers a welcoming, supportive and stimulating learning and social environment for all students. Mentoring programs for commencing students, and strategies or assisting students with study or writing problems are key priorities.
- School of Sport and Exercise Science
- The School delivers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, from degree to doctoral level. Its courses aim to produce qualified professionals with leadership, vocational and critical thinking competencies.

Summer and Winter School
Faculty of Arts, Education and Human Development offers a range of summer and winter school elective units for students to undertake during the two main semester breaks.
