Discover the world of netball with our one-day 'Introduction to Netball' program. We recommend this program for those aged 5-8 years.
Our one-day netball program will be held on Friday 5 April.
Please note: we require asthma, allergy, medication and/or behavioural forms to be provided as relevant. These are available under 'About our programs'.
About the program
Program activities
Your child will be grouped with peers of a similar age and skill level. They'll receive individual feedback that can be applied to social, school or club and development teams.
Our netball program will focus on development of netball specific and fundamental motor skills such as:
- passing
- shooting
- defending
- jumping
- leaping
- coordination
- agility
- small-sided drills
- simulations
- games
- team building
- sportsmanship.
All activities will take place in an inclusive, fun and safe environment.
What to bring
To get set for a week of activities, your child will need:
- netball shoes or runners
- netball dress/skirt or shorts
- change of clothes
- water bottle
- snacks and lunch.
Training like a sporting champion means eating like one too! We promote healthy eating and recommend that you pack a balanced lunch for your child.
Costs
- Cost for 1-day program: $73.80
Please note: Our programs cannot be claimed on the Child Care Benefit (CCB) claim.
