Dr Guneratne Wickremasinghe

Senior Lecturer, College of Business

Dr Guneratne Wickremasinghe is a Senior Lecturer of Finance and Financial Services in the College of Business and the liaison officer for CPA Australia for Victoria University.

He has been the Acting Head of School on several occasions and has held the positions of postgraduate research coordinator, discipline leader for finance and statistics, and the seminar convenor of the former School of Accounting and Finance. In addition, he has coordinated two courses in banking and finance and has coordinated both postgraduate and undergraduate units in finance and business research methods since joining VU.

His teaching interests are mainly in finance. He is currently coordinating and teaching BAO3403 Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management. To date he has published twenty-nine research papers in refereed journals.

Guneratne Wickremasinghe's external engagement activities include memberships of editorial boards of eighteen international refereed journals. He is also an honorary advisor for econometrics and finance for RK Business School Hyderabad, India.
