Five ways postgrad study can boost your career

Postgrad study is an investment, so it pays to know whether it'll really help you earn more. After completing a postgraduate degree, the average Australian entering the workforce can increase their pay by 36% within three years of graduating and earn around $96,000 to $100,000*

This means that while postgrad study can be a fairly big financial investment, it typically doesn't take long for that investment to start paying off.

A postgrad qualification is a great way of standing out in a competitive market. It's a way to show employers and recruiters who see your CV that you're equipped with in-depth skills and knowledge needed to lead and excel in your chosen field. Getting a postgrad qualification under your belt isn't just about applying for new jobs –  for a lot of students, it's a pathway to access promotions at their current job.
