Partnering for Workforce Retention program

Our Early Childhood Tertiary Partnerships program – Partnering for Workforce Retention offers two options for those seeking rewarding and in-demand careers as early childhood teachers. Our program is for students across Victoria, and in particular the western suburbs of Melbourne.

Both courses are offered in a variety of modes – in person, online self-paced, and online real time.

With the VU Block Model®, you study one subject at a time, in four-week blocks. That means you can focus your efforts, master your skills, and receive real-time feedback before moving on to the next subject.

Eligible courses

Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
A 12-month program tailored to applicants with an undergraduate qualification in a discipline other than early childhood. Launch a rewarding and in-demand pre-school teaching career.
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
A 3-year program, or 2-years if you already have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Become an in-demand early-childhood teacher, equipped with effective skills and practical experience.
