VUnique: Arts Fest

Kick off the festival with an evening full of art, music, and good vibes! Here’s what’s in store:

• Art fair – discover amazing student artwork, from paintings and sculptures to unique artifacts.
• Awards ceremony – featuring a Welcome to Country and an exciting awards ceremony judged by our prestigious panel of judges.
• Live music – enjoy the music of student bands.

Finalists will compete for cash prizes and trophies, with awards presented across the Student, Staff, and Alumni categories, including a People's Choice Award.

Showcase your creative side by submitting a work to be displayed at our Opening Night Gallery! Submissions are open now for students, staff and alumni from all disciplines. You can submit multiple works of any media to be judged, with gift card prizes up for grabs for top three Winners of the night,

Works will be judged by a variety of VU internal arts staff and external artists.

The VU International Student Association (VU ISA), the Victoria University Postgraduate Association (VUPA), thrive*, and Student Life invite Victoria University students, staff, and alumni to showcase their talents in VU's Got Talent 2026.

Do you have a talent you'd love to share? Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, perform comedy, magic, beatboxing, poetry, or have another unique talent, VU's Got Talent 2026 is your chance to take the stage.

Submit a 3-minute video audition for the opportunity to be selected as one of the finalists to perform live at the Grand Final.
