    Identify your strengths and discover your unique style to influence the market, with My Professional Brand unit.

    In this unit, you will learn the key issues and skills required to express your ‘professional brand’ to authentically lead organisations and people. This will be done by applying the skills of business project management to your personal context.

    Examining key contemporary literature and new conversations, you will focus on how to:

    • intelligently increase digital presence and influence
    • boost digital networking opportunities
    • be authentic when presenting yourself as a professional.

    The unit foreshadows the final-year workplace experience unit, helping you to determine your preferred placement.

    Learning Outcomes

    On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    1. Critique and articulate the importance of authentic personal branding in a variety of contexts including verbal, print and digital;
    2. Apply personal narrative anchors into the development of a professional brand;
    3. Exhibit the skills, knowledge and attributes of a business professional; and
    4. Initiate the development of networks and professional contacts within their chosen industry sector.
