This unit consolidates technical, interpretive and self-evaluation skills in music practice. Students are assisted in evaluating their technical, interpretative and improvisation skills. Students are instructed in a range of underpinning knowledge in general musicianship. Students are guided in setting goals, strategies, exercises and practice routines. A program of musical works is selected to present advanced technical, improvisational and interpretive challenges.
